How do I top-up my Bano account?

How do I top-up my Bano account?

1. Top-up with BSB/Account number

On your Bano Homepage, tap on 'Add cash' > 'Payment Method', 'Bank Transfer'. On this page, you will see the beneficiary name, BSB code, and Account number. You can simply copy the details and paste them into your preferred banking mobile app. Once you have added these details in your banking app, you will be able to seamlessly transfer money to your account.

(Note: this process can take up to 1-2 days as your bank may need to clear the transaction. However after your first transfer, your following transfers should be faster as your bank will recognise the transaction.)

2. Top-up with PayID

On your Bano Homepage, tap on 'Add cash' > 'Payment Method' > 'PayID'. This action will copy the your Bano PayID and allow you to paste the details in your preferred banking mobile app.  Once you have added these details in your banking app, you will be able to seamlessly transfer money to your account.

(Note: PayID uses OSKO payments which are usually instant, however, your bank make put a 24hr hold on your first transaction. After your first transaction, PayID top-ups will usually be instant.)

3. Top-up with ApplePay/GooglePay

On your Bano Homepage, tap on 'Add cash'. On this page, you input the amount you want to add to your Bano Balance and then hit confirm. Your digital wallet will pop-up and ask which card you would like to top-up with. Once you have paid through ApplePay/GooglePay, the amount will instantly be reflected in your Bano Balance.

(Note: The minimum amount to use with ApplePay/GooglePay is $100. The card you use to top-up your Bano Balance must all be the same name you provided to Bano).

Bano currently supports topping-up in 36 currencies through Bank Transfer only. This means you can top-up your Bano account with your preferred currency (if Bano supports the currency) and it will appear as that currency in the Bano App (provided you have opened a Bano Multi-Currency account in the specified currency. (Fees & charges may apply when topping-up in a different currency other than AUD)
